Live Like a Local: A Bee Cave Weekend Itinerary

Published | Posted by Leah Goertz

Thinking about calling Bee Cave home?

Whether you’re house hunting or just visiting, this little pocket of the Hill Country has a whole lot of heart—and I’ve put together the perfect weekend itinerary to help you fall in love like a local!

Saturday:

For the Fitness Friends:

Kick off your Saturday morning by breaking a sweat at one of the many gyms or studios! Take a kickboxing class at Rumble or catch some zen at Yoga6 in the Hill Country Galleria. Where are my cyclists at? Turn up the heat at CycleBar Bee Cave or get your spin on a CYCED. Maybe you prefer Pilates? TLSx is a reformer pilates studio that will kick your practice up a notch and leave you feeling amazing.

For those looking for a more structured gym environment, hit up Hill Country Indoor where they have classes in abundance, an indoor running track, kids day camps, and so much more! These are just a few of my favorites, but there is no shortage of options to keep you fit and healthy! Find the fitness home that fits your lifestyle.

A Brew-tiful Morning:

After that workout, add some extra pep in your step by grabbing a coffee at one of Bee Cave's many coffee shops. Summer Moon is a Texas original for those who want to keep it local! Be sure to ask for the Moon Milk and thank me later.

Meet a friend for a coffee date with ambiance and bubbles at Runaway Luna, where they are serving up some of the most delicious brunch, bakery favorites, and antique shopping. Vivel Crepes & Coffee is also great for an on-the-go option!

Stroll and Shop:

Head on over to the Galleria for the Hill Country Galleria Farmer's Market held every Saturday from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. You can shop for local produce and foods, plants, antiques, and artisanal items while enjoying music on the lawn.

You can also find many of your favorite go-to brands located within the shopping center, such as H&M, Lululemon, and Dillard's, or shop local boutiques like Fabrik Austin or Gatsby's.

Community:

For a little quiet time, make a stop at the Bee Cave Public Library, where you can pick up your favorite mystery or romance novel. Bring the kids where they can attend a Saturday Story Time or Lego Club!

Lunch Break:

All that movement works up an appetite! Grab a quick lunch at Cafe' Blue, The League, or Maudies. Need something with a playscape where you can unwind while the littles play? Check out Flores Mexican Restaurant, Verdes, Hat Creek Burger, or Mandola's.

Catch the Golden Hour:

Hit up Frontyard Brewing for a sunset game of pickleball, delicious food trailers, and plenty of space for the whole family.

Dinner with a View:

To add some magic to the end of your day, grab a drink at the Meridian 98 Rooftop Bar (Sonesta Bee Cave Hotel). Hill Country views + craft cocktails = Saturday perfection. It’s the kind of place locals bring friends to impress them—and maybe seal the deal on falling in love with Bee Cave.

Sunday:

Start the Morning off Right:

Kick off the beginning of the week with a mindful smoothie at Juiceland, an Austin favorite. Or Juiced Up ATX, where you can get the freshest smoothies that will get you ready to take on the day.

Rooted in Beauty:

Take in the beauty of Bee Cave by taking a stroll through Bee Cave Park or getting artsy at the Bee Cave Arts Foundation Sculpture Park. Bee Cave neighborhoods have many community parks and hiking and biking trails with various amenities to suit your lifestyle. Let's chat so we can discuss and find the perfect community for you!

Supper is Served:

Angel's Icehouse is the perfect laidback restaurant located off of 71 where you can find an expansive patio, playscape, and live music, and the best comfort food and cocktails. Listen to your favorite cover of Neon Moon while sipping a spicy margarita—and don't forget to take a photo in front of the Angel's wings!

Sunday Reset:

Sundays are meant for rest, so get back to your beautiful neighborhood in time to set yourself up for the week! Water the plants, tidy the kitchen, prepare meals for the week, and enjoy an iced tea sitting on your back patio, enjoying the sunset and Bee Cave beauty. Home sweet home!

Living in Bee Cave isn’t just about the homes—it’s about the lifestyle:

The brunch spots, the local art, the hilltop sunsets, and the friendly faces that make this town so special.

If this weekend made you fall in love a little (I wouldn’t blame you!), I’d love to help you explore the next step—finding a home that makes Bee Cave your everyday retreat.
